If you wish to get involved, there are lots of things you are able to do:
We are lucky that we have a group of very dedicated volunteers who work with the community. New volunteers are most welcome and there are a variety of roles available. The areas we are most active in at the moment are:
Education
Cornwall Faith Forum has been invited to run workshops for primary and secondary school pupils, college students and care workers. Workshops are jointly developed by the following groups: the Baha’i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Humanist, Jewish, Muslim and Pagan communities.
We are looking for people with an interest in the following education roles:
Volunteer Faith Speakers for running workshops for:
- Primary school children
- Secondary school children
- College students
- Care workers
Press and Publicity Officers
Social Media Officers
Support during Educational Events
Benefits for volunteers are:
- Free training
- Being part of an Inter-faith support network (We organise walks and community events) .
- Help with child-care

Fundraising
We have got a wonderful field at Penmount, a lease with Cornwall Council and planning permission but we need to raise the money to build the Inter-Faith Centre. We are looking for people with an interest in the following fundraising roles:
- Fundraising Group Members
- Organising Events
- People with experience of fundraising
- People willing to speak to community groups
