Baha’i Event – Three Holy Days – Sunday 27th April 2025 at 2.00 pm

Our Cornwall Faith Forum Baha’i Representative, Philomena Clifford’ writes:  “April and the beginning of May marks 12 days of the holiest period of Ridvan in the Baha’i calendar. Three specific days are marked out from this period as special Holy days,  the 1st, 9th and 12th day of Ridvan, (Info at bahai.org for anyone who is interested!).

We have been lucky enough to share a couple of these Holy days with friends at Cornwall Faith Forum with Readings and Prayers – usually accompanied by music from the Bahai Ukulele Band and not least in the making of a flower carpet together from  real petals at Cafe Chaos!

The 2025 Bahai session at the field falls at 2.00 pm on April 27th which is the first day of the Baha’i month of Jamal ( Beauty). We will mention the Holy Ridvan  period of course and then we will take this opportunity to explain the Baha’i calendar and importantly celebrate what is known as a ‘Feast’ with you, (celebrated on the 1st day of a Bahai month)
